Mix the cottage cheese with the raisins, sugar, eggs and vanilla. Set aside 1 egg white for spreading. Lay out the phyllo pastry sheets 2 by 2. First, brush them with butter, add some of the filling, form them into rolls and arrange in a buttered baking dish.
Spread the top with the beaten egg white and add the remaining melted butter. Bake in a moderate oven until the phyllo pastry pies obtain a nice tan.
