Ingredients

  • macaroni - 9 oz (250 g)
  • peas - 3 1/3 tbsp (50 g)
  • carrots - 2 oz (50 g)
  • potatoes - 2 oz (50 g)
  • tomatoes - 2 oz (50 g)
  • cheese - 7 oz (200 g)
  • milk - 6 1/5 cups (1.5 l)
  • corn flour - 1 tsp
  • butter - 3 1/3 tbsp (50 g)
  • black pepper

How to cook

Boil the pasta in salted water. Rinse with cold water, and grate it coarsely.

Boil the peas, carrots and potatoes and blend them. Chop the tomatoes finely.

Prepare a white sauce by frying the corn flour in a Teflon container with two tablespoons of butter until light yellow in color. Stir constantly with a wooden spoon to prevent the formation of lumps, until thickened.

In a deep tray, mix the pasta, vegetables, half the cheese and the white sauce. Sprinkle the remaining cheese on top and bake for 30 minutes in the oven. Serve the dish hot.
