How to cook
Peel, chop the potatoes in big pieces, and boil them in salted water so that they are almost ready, not completely boiled so that the pieces do not fall apart.
There are varieties that are more brittle, and to avoid deforming them, it is an option to boil whole and then peel and cut.
Heat olive oil and a little butter in a large pan, put the potatoes in one layer, and saute without stirring.
To turn them over, make a slight toss similar to the movement when turning pancakes.
When the sauteed potatoes start to turn golden, add the remaining butter, and after a few seconds - the garlic, cut into thin slices.
Cook until evenly browned, add the spices to sauteed potatoes, and stir again as mentioned above.
Serve the fragrant sauteed potatoes warm with your favorite sauce.
Enjoy your meal!
