How to cook
Finely chop the onion, garlic, and roasted and peeled peppers. In a saucepan, heat the oil and fry the onion and garlic for about 5 minutes over medium heat.
Once softened, add the peppers and mix well. Cook for another 5 minutes.
Add the red lentils, stir and pour over the water. Cook for about 15 minutes or until the lentils are ready. Season with salt.
Puree the vegetables and return to the stove to boil again. Add the cream, mix the lentil soup well, and remove from the heat.
