In a plastic jug of 1.5 gal (5 liters), put the chopped walnuts. Use small green nuts and pour the brandy over them. Add the cloves. Close the jug and keep it at room temperature for 1 month.
Then strain it through a double gauze and mix with the sugar syrup, made from the sugar and water, heated to the melting of the sugar. Strain once more and pour it into dry bottles. Close very well. Store in a cool dark place for 40 days, until the liqueur is ready.
