Ingredients

  • chili peppers - 6.5 lb (3 kg)
  • wine vinegar - 4 1/5 cups (1 liter)
  • water - 2 cups (500 ml)
  • salt - 2/3 cup (150 g)
  • sugar - 1 cup or more
  • oil - for frying

Preparation

Clean the chili peppers, trim their stems and fry them in preheated oil. Put them in jars and pour in a marinade prepared beforehand by boiling vinegar, 2 cups (500 ml) of water, salt and sugar.

Close the jars with the caps and sterilize them for 5-10 minutes, so they can be stored longer.
