Cut the bacon into small pieces and fry them in their own fat until browned. Add a part of the flour and stir 2 - 3 times. Immediately thereafter, add the washed and cut into small pieces nettle.
Stew until soft, add salt, pour in hot water and boil on low heat for a few minutes, then add the rest of the flour, diluted in a little cold water. Boil the mixture for another 5-6 minutes. Remove it from the heat and serve.
The porridge can be prepared with saltbush or spinach, instead of nettle.
