How to cook
Peel and cut the onions into rings.
Separate the yolks from the egg whites. Beat the egg whites until foamy.
In another bowl whisk the yolks, milk, flour, salt and pepper. Add the egg whites and fold them in gently.
Roll the rings into the flour and then dip them in the batter. Deep fry them in hot oil until they turn golden brown and crispy.
Set them on kitchen paper to absorb the excess oil.
Serve with a sour cream-garlic dip.
