Ingredients

  • flour - 1 2/3 cups (400 g), as needed for a hard dough
  • milk - 3 1/3 tbsp (50 ml)
  • baking soda - 2 tsp
  • butter - 2/3 cup (150 g)
  • eggs - 2
  • nuts - 1 cup crushed walnuts and almonds
  • raisins - 2/3 cup (150 g)
  • apricots - 2/3 cup (150 g) dried
  • cognac - 2/5 cup (100 ml)
  • lemons - 3 1/3 tbsp (50 ml) lemon juice
  • brown sugar - 1 cup (220 g)
  • honey - 3 tablespoons

Preparation

Pour the baking soda in the milk, beat the butter with the sugar. Separately, beat the eggs by hand and add milk, cognac, lemon juice. The entire blend is added to the sugar and butter under continuous stirring.

Add the raisins, finely chopped dried apricots, and slightly pre-baked nuts. Start mixing with the flour until you get a stiff dough that separates from the spoon on its own. Form oval cookies, which are arranged on a greased baking sheet.

Bake in a preheated oven at 392°F (200 °C) until golden brown. When ready, they are coated immediately with a mixture of the honey and a little cognac.find similar recipes here
