Put the peeled potatoes to boil until halfway done with a little salt and 1-2 drops of vinegar in the water. Drain the finished potatoes, cool and divide them into halves and gently carve them. Arrange them in a greased tray, put a small piece of butter in each and sprinkle them with salt and white pepper.
Heat a little oil in a pan and fry the finely chopped bacon. Remove and fry the crushed small mushrooms. In a bowl, mix the insides of the hollowed out potatoes with mushrooms, bacon, sliced pickles, spices and mayonnaise. Fill the potatoes.
Add 3 1/3 tbsp (50 ml) of water in the tray and put them to bake for 10-15 minutes. Remove, sprinkle them with plenty of cheese or just put a thick piece on each potato. Put it back to bake to a tasty melt.
Serve the potato temptation with a side of vegetables.
