How to cook
In a deep frying pan, pour the 2 tablespoons of oil to heat it up. During this time, peel and finely chop the onion.
Once the oil is ready, put the onion in to fry it. Stir constantly. The goal is to make the onion soft - then it is ready.
Pour the tomato puree into the pan. If it's homemade, you don't need to add water, but if it's not homemade, you can add 1 cup of water to make the sauce a little thinner.
Leave the sauce to cook on very low heat. Season with salt to taste, black pepper about 1 tsp. , basil and savory. Leave for about 5 minutes to finish cooking and serve.
