Ingredients

  • butter - 1 cup (250 g) cream, soft
  • feta cheese - 5.5 oz (150 g)
  • cheese - 3.5 oz (100 g) grated + more for sprinkling
  • eggs - 1 + 1 to spread
  • vinegar - 1 tablespoon
  • flour - 1 1/5 cups (300 g)
  • caraway - for sprinkling
  • sesame seeds - for sprinkling

Preparation

Beat the fresh butter well and add the grated 3.5 oz (100 g) of cheese and feta cheese with 1 egg, 1 spoon vinegar and the flour. Knead a dough, cover it with a cloth and leave it for 1 night in the refrigerator.

The next day, roll out the dough into a sheet with a thickness of 1/4″ (0.5 cm), cut it into sticks with a length of 3″ (8 cm). Arrange them in a greased tray, brush them with the beaten egg and sprinkle a little grated cheese on each.

Optionally, sprinkle sesame and caraway in places. Put them to bake in a moderate oven until they get a pale golden tan.find similar recipes here
