  • chicken - 1 whole
  • bacon - 1.5 oz (45 g)
  • potatoes - 21 oz (600 g) peeled
  • butter - 2 2/3 tbsp (40 g)
  • bread - 2 oz (60 g), of dry white
  • salt


Place a slice of bacon at the bottom of a baking dish. Place the cleaned, washed and dried chicken on top, season it with salt. Around it, arrange quartered and peeled potatoes, put a few slices of bacon on and put it to bake in a low oven.

During baking, baste the chicken and potatoes with some melted butter. Shortly before the end of cooking, add the chopped into pieces bread, pour on a little butter and bake until finished.

Serve the roasted chicken with potatoes with a vegetable salad.
