Cut the chicken into smaller fillets if necessary, and arrange them in a greased baking tray. Salt them well and sprinkle with black pepper and the other spices, add the chopped into thin crescents onion and pressed garlic.
Pour in a little oil and the wine, cover the tray with foil and let it sit for 1 hour. Put the tray in a moderately heated oven to bake for about 45-50 minutes.
Serve the chicken with a side of salad.
