"Give us a few apples and watch us whip up this tasty strudel in the easiest way imaginable."

Ingredients

  • flour - 2 cups (500 g)
  • oil - 2/3 cup (150 ml) or melted butter
  • baking soda - 1 pinch
  • salt - 1 pinch
  • for the filling
  • apples - 2 lb (1 kg)
  • walnuts - 1/2 cup, chopped
  • sugar - 2 - 3 tablespoons
  • breadcrumbs - 3 tablespoons
  • cinnamon

How to cook

Of the first 4 products and 2/5 cup (100 ml) of water, knead a dough and divide it into 2 parts. Roll one half out in a buttered baking dish, so as to cover the bottom and part of the walls.

Sprinkle it with chopped walnuts and a bit of the breadcrumbs and then spread the pre-grated, squeezed and mixed with cinnamon apples on top.

Sprinkle with the sugar and the remaining breadcrumbs. Cover with the second rolled out dough sheet. Bake the lazy strudel in a heated oven and cut it once cool. Serve the strudel with a little powdered sugar and flavor with vanilla.
