Ingredients

  • potatoes - 2 lb (1 kg)
  • feta cheese - 5.5 oz (150 g)
  • flour - 2 2/3 tbsp (40 g)
  • breadcrumbs - 1 1/3 tbsp (20 g)
  • parsley - 2 tsp (10 g)
  • eggs - 2
  • vegetable oil - 4 tablespoons
  • black pepper - 1 - 2 pinches
  • salt - to taste

How to cook

Boil the peeled and washed potatoes in water, steam, and while still hot, pass them through a food press. To the resulting paste, add a little flour, grated feta cheese, 1 egg, salt, the black pepper and finely chopped parsley.

Stir the mixture and make balls that you then roll in flour, dip in the remaining egg, breadcrumbs and then in egg again. Fry in preheated oil and serve hot, with mustard sauce.
