How to cook
Spread out the puff pastry and sprinkle it with plenty of sugar and raisins, which you've left to soak for 10 minutes in warm water in advance, then roll the puff pastry up and cut it into 3/4″ (2 cm) round slices. Place them in a lightly greased oven dish at a distance from one another.
Sprinkle with sugar on top again. Bake for 20 minutes at 392°F (200 °C). Savory ones are made in the same way, except that the dough needs to be coated with a mixture of feta cheese, eggs and yoghurt. Smear the top with an egg yolk. If desired, sprinkle it with spices or a little cheese.
Bake for about 30 minutes.
