  • potatoes - 3 lb (1.3 kg)
  • leeks - 1 cup, chopped
  • chicken - 17.5 oz (500 g), boiled and deboned
  • carrots - 1 large
  • peas - 3 - 4 tablespoons, frozen
  • eggs - 3, large
  • yoghurt - 1 cup
  • vegetable broth - 2/5 cup (100 ml),
  • garlic - 4 - 5 cloves
  • parsley - 1/3 bunch
  • white oregano - 1 tsp, dried
  • white pepper - to taste
  • salt
  • oil


Peel the potatoes, cut them into slices and put them in a bowl. Sprinkle generously with all the spices, sprinkle them with oil and stir them to season. Put a layer of potatoes on the bottom and sides of a buttered fireproof oven dish.

Heat oil in a pan on the stove and cook the chopped leeks, carrot and add the chopped boiled chicken meat. Once everything is tender, add the sliced garlic and some peas. Season it with spices and spread the mixture over the potatoes in the oven dish.

Arrange another layer of potatoes and sprinkle it with some spices. Pour the eggs beaten with the yoghurt and broth over the pie. Put the potato pie with chicken to bake in moderate oven until the potatoes are ready.

Allow them to cool in a slightly open and turned off oven.
