How to cook
In a bowl, mix the sifted flour, baking powder and salt.
Beat the butter and eggs and add the flour to them.
Mix well and add the sliced apples, 1 tbsp. of lemon juice, sugar and nutmeg. Pour the mixture into a greased and floured pan with a diameter of 7″ (18 cm).
Bake in a pre-heated oven at 356°F (180 degrees).
While the pastry base is baking, prepare the syrup. Mix the sugar and lemon juice and beat the mixture well.
As soon as the apple pastry is ready, pour the syrup over it, so it can absorb it.
