  • nutmeg powder - by taste
  • For the syrup
  • lemon juice - 4 tbsp.
  • sugar - 2 tbsp.

How to cook

In a bowl, mix the sifted flour, baking powder and salt.

Beat the butter and eggs and add the flour to them.

Mix well and add the sliced ​​apples, 1 tbsp. of lemon juice, sugar and nutmeg. Pour the mixture into a greased and floured pan with a diameter of 7″ (18 cm).

Bake in a pre-heated oven at 356°F (180 degrees).

While the pastry base is baking, prepare the syrup. Mix the sugar and lemon juice and beat the mixture well.
