"Prepare a special box with a lock for these cookies because otherwise they`re going to vanish in seconds."

Ingredients

  • butter - 2/3 cup (150 g)
  • flour - 1 cup (250 g)
  • eggs - 2 egg yolks
  • sugar - 2/5 cup (100 g)
  • vanilla - 2 packets
  • marmalade - 2/3 cup (150 g), by choice
  • powdered sugar - 2/5 cup (100 g)

How to cook

Cut the butter into pieces in a plastic bowl. Add the sifted flour, 2 vanillas, the sugar and the 2 egg yolks. Knead a shortbread dough, roll it out into a sheet with a thickness of 3/16″ (0.5 cm).

Cut out sweets using shapes and bake in the oven for 15 minutes. After cooking, stick them 2 by 2 with marmalade.

Optionally, you can sprinkle them with powdered sugar.
