How to cook
Pre-dissolve the yeast in the warm milk with a pinch of sugar. Once effervescent, add 3 cups of flour with the beaten eggs, sugar, yoghurt, remaining sugar, a pinch of salt, vanilla sugar, rum extract and orange peel to it. Begin to gradually add the flour and melted butter with the oil.
Add flour until you get a firm ball. Knead the dough well and let it rise in a warm place. Knead it again and let it rise in a covered greased bowl once again.
Divide it into 3 parts, form them into long wicks and weave them together, adding raisins, dried fruits, walnuts and pieces of Turkish delight between them.
When finished, place it in a greased form and let it rise again. Brush with beaten egg yolk and optionally sprinkle it with crystal sugar.
Put it to bake in a moderately heated oven.
