How to cook
Cut the small calamari tubes into 1 cm thick slices.
Wash them under cold running water and strain them in a colander.
In a suitable bowl, mix the well-beaten egg with the chilled beer.
As you stir constantly, add a spoonful by spoonful from the flour, a little salt and black pepper.
Dip the calamari in breadcrumbs and fry them in hot oil until they're golden brown on both sides.
The fried breaded calamari is served with lemon slices and cold beer.
