How to cook
Cut the bacon into small pieces and fry it in its own fat until browned. Add a portion of the flour and mix it 2 - 3 times. Immediately thereafter, add the washed and finely chopped nettle.
Stew until soft, add salt, add hot water and boil on low heat for a few minutes, then add the rest of the flour, diluted in a little cold water.
Boil the porridge for another 5-6 minutes. Remove from the heat and serve. It can be prepared with saltbush or spinach, instead of nettle.
