How to cook
The frozen squid tubes are defrosted and washed. The blade of the knife is carefully passed and the outer membrane, which is like cellophane, is removed.
The inner corneal strip is also removed. The tubes are cut into 1 cm slices and dried. Sprinkle with salt and a pinch of black pepper.
The cornflakes are crushed into small pieces. This can be done by pouring the granules on a piece of paper and using a rolling pin to break them.
Each slice is rolled in flour, and dipped in a beaten egg, pre-mixed with the crumbs of cornflakes.
Heat the oil in a non-stick pan. Fry the squid, adding 5-6 pieces to the pan. Turn on both sides and the beer appetizer is ready in 2-3 minutes.
Preparation of the garnish:
Cut a few slices from one leek. Each wheel can become a funnel. To do this, press with your finger in the middle and push the inner rings so as to obtain the shape of a funnel.
The empty funnels are filled with this filling. You can also put chopped fresh dill in it.
The fried squid with cornflakes is great.
