How to cook
To prepare the mixture for the burgers, a blender would be a great helper. So in a very short time, it will be ready.
Let it grind at high speed for a few seconds.
Judge the density of the mixture, it will depend on the water content of the zucchini and how well you drained the quinoa and lentils.
In case it is thin, add flour to thicken.
In any case, the mixture will remain sticky, but this is not a problem.
Take with oiled hands and flatten in the form of a burger - not too thin, but not thick.
Bake each side in a pan with a non-stick bottom greased with olive oil. The heat should be moderate.
If in the first patty you encounter difficulty in turning or it is too soft and crumbles, it means that you still have to thicken the mixture.
The next part of the preparation before assembling the burger is to fry the thinly sliced onion in a little olive oil until darkly browned. It will give an amazing flavour to the sandwich - burger.
Put thin slices of tomato and cucumber on each loaf, you can also combine it with different types of salad leaves, baby spinach and arugula.
Put the vegan patty and spread vegan mayonnaise on the lid of the bread.
The bread itself can also be toasted in a pan.
If desired, you can add a piece of tofu for luxury.
This veggie burger is so delicious that it is not inferior to one cooked with meat. See for yourself :)
