How to cook
In a bowl, beat the eggs with the sugar.
The bananas are mashed with a fork and then are added to the eggs.
In another bowl, mix the sifted flour, baking powder, salt and vanilla. The dry ingredients are added together and mixed carefully with the beaten eggs.
The chocolate is crushed into small pieces and also added to the mixture and it is once again stirred.
Pour the cake mixture into the oblong mold. The bottom and sides of the mold need to be covered with baking paper or greased and floured, beforehand.
The banana cake is baked in a preheated oven at 356°F (180 degrees).
In order to check to see if the cake is fully baked, poke it with a toothpick and it should come out dry if it is.
