- chicken - 10.5 oz (300 g), boiled
- potatoes - 17.5 oz (500 g), boiled
- carrots - 1, boiled
- peppers - 2, roasted and peeled
- tomatoes - 2, grated
- onions - 1
- eggs - 2
- yoghurt - 1 cup
- salt - to taste
- black pepper - to taste, ground
- savory - 1 tsp
- oil - 2 - 3 tablespoons
The meat, carrots, potatoes and peppers are cut into small pieces and the onions - into strips. Salt them lightly. Smear a 12″ x 8″ (30 cm x 20 cm) tray with oil and first arrange the potatoes, then the carrot, peppers, meat and onion.
On top of them, add the tomatoes, sprinkle them with black pepper. Bake at 356°F (180 °C) for 15-20 minutes. The eggs are beaten, mixed with the yoghurt and the resulting mixture is poured over the ingredients in the tray.
Sprinkle the top with a little savory and 2-3 tablespoons of oil. The moussaka is baked to redness on the upper element only. You will get 4-5 servings.
