  • eggs - 5
  • milk - 1 cup (250 ml)
  • sugar - 1 cup (250 g)
  • yeast - 1 packet
  • oil - 2/3 cup (150 ml) + lard
  • lemons - zest of 1 lemon
  • flour - for a medium soft dough
  • dark chocolate - 5.5 oz (150 g)

Dissolve the yeast in 1 cup of milk with a tablespoon of flour and a little sugar. Stir and allow it to rise. Sift 2 cups (500 g) of flour and add the yeast, the eggs one by one, the remaining sugar and lemon rind to it. Add more flour and the oil in parts.

Knead a medium soft dough and let it rise in a warm place. Tear off balls the size of a small fist and roll them out into thin sheets. Cut each sheet into pieces, like triangular pizza slices.

In each triangle, put a piece of chocolate and roll it into a scone. Arrange them on a tray and leave them to rise again. Brush them with the egg yolk beaten with a little oil and put them to bake in a moderate oven until ready.find similar recipes here
