Cookies with Lard

  • sugar - 1 cup
  • eggs - 2 + 1 for spreading
  • lard - 2 tablespoons, full
  • yoghurt - 1 cup
  • baking soda - 1 tsp
  • flour - as needed for a soft dough
  • vanilla - 1 packet
  • lemon zest - grated rind of 1 lemon


Beat the eggs with sugar until whitened, add the lard, yoghurt with baking soda extinguished in it. Add the flavors and start adding flour.

Knead a soft dough. Tear pieces from it about the size of a walnut and make oval shapes. Arrange them on a tray, covered with baking paper and gently flatten them.

Smear the cookies with lard with a whisked egg and sprinkle them with a little granulated sugar. Put them to bake in a preheated oven.find similar recipes here
