Cut the vegetables into small pieces and put to boil without the lentils, because they boil very quickly. Shortly before the vegetables are ready, add the lentils and salt to taste.

Meanwhile, fry the garlic in a little oil and after browning, add cumin and add it to the soup. Blend in a blender once cool. Serve with croutons.
