How to cook
Beat the butter with the sugar and salt and add the milk spoon by spoon, alternating with the flour and baking soda.
Finally, if desired, mix the dough with the crumbled feta cheese. Knead a dough and leave it in a covered bowl in the refrigerator for 2-3 hours.
Then divide it into balls, roll them out to about 3/16″ (5 mm) thick and cut out crackers. Arrange the crackers in a tray with baking paper. Smear them with beaten egg and sprinkle thoroughly with sesame seeds.
Bake them in a 356°F (180 °C) heated oven. The unpleasant smell of ammonium bicarbonate is felt only during cooking, but afterwards there is absolutely no trace of it in the taste of the sesame crackers.
