How to cook
Dissolve the sugar in the milk, add the yeast and 2-3 tbsp. flour. Mix it and allow it to rise. Then add the oil, salt, egg and the rest of the sifted flour.
Knead a soft, smooth and elastic dough. It needs to be left to rise for 30 minutes in a greased dish. Then roll it out into 0.4″ (1 cm) thick crust and cut out circles from it and leave them to rise for another 10 minutes.
Fry them in hot oil (they fry quickly, in seconds) and once you take them out sprinkle the ready-to-serve donuts with powdered sugar.
