How to cook
Preheat the oven to 360°F (180 degrees) and prepare a baking pan and cover it with baking paper.
The dried fruit are cut into small pieces and placed in a bowl with the walnuts, cinnamon, the lemon peel, sugar, sherry and 1.5 tbsp. soft butter. Mix everything.
The apples are peeled halfway of the skin, they're carved out without reaching the bottom and filled with the stuffing.
Apply the remaining butter with a brush on the outside.
Place them in the baking pan and bake them at 360°F (180 degrees) until they soften.
