How to cook
The meat is cut into chunks and placed in a marinade made from the soy sauce, olive oil, black pepper and oregano. It is left in it for several hours.
The leeks and carrots are cleaned and chopped. They are placed in the baking dish - clay or ceramic casserole pan. Add salt, oil, the red pepper and rice. Mix well.
Fry the marinated meat in a pan with a little fat. Once it has fried lightly, add it to vegetables and rice. Add the canned tomatoes.
Add about 3 cups of water. Then cover the dish with a lid and place it in a cold oven. Set the oven to 392°F (200 degrees) and bake the dish for about 20 minutes.
The temperature is then reduced to 356°F (180 degrees). Bake another 40-45 minutes until the rice is fully cooked.
