How to cook
Clean the mussels of everything stuck to them and put them to boil in boiling water so that their shells open up. Then remove the mussels, clean them again and put them to boil in salted water along with the chopped celery, carrots, bay leaf and lemon.
Cut the onion finely and sauté it in hot oil. Add the pre-washed rice and sauté it for about 2-3 minutes, then add the chopped into small pieces red pepper and tomato paste.
Top the rice with the mussels and their broth and season to taste with black pepper and salt. Let the meat simmer over low heat until the rice is fully cooked.
