"Don`t skimp on the ham because the more you put in, the tastier the salty cake will be."

Ingredients

  • leeks - 2 sprigs
  • butter - 3 1/3 tbsp (50 g) for stewing the leeks
  • eggs - 3
  • liquid cream - 4/5 cup (200 ml) (sour cream + a little milk)
  • flour - 4/5 cup (200 g)
  • baking powder - 1
  • ham - 7 oz (200 g), or use bacon, or smoked fillet

How to cook

Sauté the chopped leeks in butter until soft. Whisk the eggs, add the cream, flour and baking powder and finally stir with a spoon, along with the chopped ham and fried leeks, with its oil.

Optionally, add a little salt and a dash of black pepper. Bake in greased cake pan or oven pan at 356°F (180 °C).
