Sprinkle the strawberries with powdered sugar in a bowl. If they are too big, you can split them in half. Beat the butter with the sugar until white and gradually add the eggs while stirring. Then add the sour cream and vanilla.
Blend together the flour, baking powder, baking soda and start adding them in batches to the other mixture. Beat until homogenous. Pour the mixture into a deep, small greased baking pan (preferably with a nonstick bottom), distribute the strawberries on the surface and lightly press them when needed.
Optionally, you can spread some raisins on it. Bake the fluffy pie with strawberries in a preheated oven at 347°F (175 °C) to a nice tan.
