How to cook
Put the ready-made cake layer in a cake pan with removable sides; the cake layer must be the same diameter as the bottom of the pan. Heat the milk with the sugar and dissolve the swollen gelatin packet separately in the milk, which must not come to a boil.
Allow the mixture to cool and before it starts to jelly, pour it over the cake layer. Leave it to cool until set. Heat the syrup and dissolve the remaining packets of gelatin in it. If you do not have homemade syrup, try a box of fruit juice.
The cleaned fruits are chopped and if necessary, mix with the syrup. Allow to cool again and before it jellies, pour it on now solid thin cream layer. Put the cake back in the cold, until it is fully solid.
