How to cook
Mix 1 cup of water with the honey and sugar in a pan, put it on the stove and stir until you get a thick syrup. Beat the egg whites until you get a foam.
Remove the syrup from the heat and after 10-odd minutes, add the egg white in portions and stir with a whisk. Finally, mix the chopped nuts in. Lay out a tray with transparent foil or cellophane and gently grease it.
Sprinkle some nuts, spread the mixture on top and smooth it out. Leave the homemade halva with nuts in the refrigerator. Serve it sliced.
