How to cook
First, boil the sauerkraut leaves to soften them.
You can prepare the sarma in 2 ways. If you do not want to fry, mix the finely chopped onions, grated tomatoes and carrots, rice, oil, paprika, black pepper, cumin and as much salt as you desire with the minced meat. Fill the sarma with this mixture.
The second way is to fry the products in this sequence in hot fat. Arrange the rolled up sauerkraut sarma with minced meat in a pot, pour water or meat broth over them, press them down with a plate and boil them until they remain in fat.
Note: You can use finely chopped meat instead of minced meat.
