How to make
Wash the gherkins very well, clean them well and arrange them in two three-liter jars and place the dill in the middle.
Measure 1 gal (4 liters) of water and pour that into a pot, place it on the stove to boil and then season it with salt. Leave it to boil and dissolve the salt for about 5 minutes.
Leave it to cool and then pour 2 tbsp. vinegar in each jar and add from the cooled salty water but you must strain it when pouring it in the jars.
Sprinkle a little mustard seeds in them, close the jars with plastic caps and leave the jars in a ventilated place.
