"When it comes to brussels sprouts, there`s no middle ground - you either love it or can`t stand the sight of it."

Ingredients

  • brussels sprouts - 24.5 oz (700 g)
  • olive oil - 3 tablespoons
  • garlic - 4 large cloves, roundly sliced
  • chili peppers - 1/4 tsp, red, finely chopped
  • salt - 1/4 tsp
  • basil - dry
  • lemon juice
  • peas - 3.5 oz (100 g)
  • cauliflowers - 4 florets

How to cook

Heat the olive oil in a cooking pan and braise the garlic, while stirring. Add the brussels sprouts, season them with salt, add the chili peppers and stew under a lid.

Periodically, shake the container and leave it on the stove until the sprouts soften. Sprinkle with basil. Take the sprouts out of the pan, add a little olive oil, fry the peas and cauliflower and season them with salt and basil.

Serve the vegetables sprinkled with lemon juice.
