How to cook
Clean and wash the mushrooms. Remove the caps from the stems and arrange them in a buttered dish. Chop the onion into cubes and put a little in each cap.
Sprinkle the mushrooms with any remainder. Place a piece of butter on top of the onion in each mushroom. Pour in the wine and 2/5 cup (100 ml) water, sprinkle with salt and black pepper to taste, and place the tray in the oven.
Bake the mushrooms with butter in the oven about 40 minutes at medium temperature - 392°F (200 °C). Before serving, sprinkle them with finely chopped parsley.
They can be served with a salad or as a side to fried or roasted meats.
