How to cook
Beat the eggs with the sugar until they double in volume.
Add the oil, yoghurt with the baking soda and the flour along with the baking powder.
Pour the mixture into a greased and floured baking pan. Arrange the pitted cherries on top.
The cake is baked at 356°F (180 degrees) for 30-35 minutes. Once it is baked, sprinkle it with powdered sugar.
