Ingredients

  • for the meatballs
  • pork minced meat - 0.9 lb (400 g)
  • tomato puree - 1 tsp.
  • paprika - 1 tsp.
  • black pepper - 1/2 tsp.
  • cumin - 1/2 tsp.
  • onion - 1 small onion
  • salt - 1/2 tsp.
  • for the sauce
  • red peppers - 2 pcs. (or other colors/optional)
  • large tortillas - 5 pcs.
  • yellow cheese - 3.5 oz (100 g)
  • tomato sauce - 20 fl oz (600 ml)
  • oil - 4 tbsp.
  • red beans - 1 tin (400 g)
  • chili seasoning - 1 tbsp.*

How to cook

Cut the onion into small pieces and the peppers into thin strips.

Mix the minced meat with the onion and the spices (* the chili spice contains a mixture of cumin, salt, chili, garlic powder, oregano and peppers). Knead the minced meat well and form about 20 small round meatballs.

Heat the oil in a deep frying pan on a medium heat.

Fry the meatballs on all sides until they aquire a golden brown color for about 3-4 minutes. Remove them from the pan.

Pour the chopped peppers into the fat. Fry, while you stir them for about 5 minutes. Place the meatballs back into the pan and add the tomato sauce and red beans.

Cover it with a lid and cook them for about 20 minutes, while stirring occasionally. If the sauce thickens too much, add a little water.

Heat the tortillas in a pan on the hob. Add about 3-4 meatballs with sauce and sprinkle the burritos with grated cheese.

Roll up the burritos with pork meatballs and serve them.
