Ingredients

  • sauerkraut - 3.5 lb (1.5 kg)
  • pork - 17.5 oz (500 g)
  • bulgur - 1 2/3 cups (400 g)
  • lard - 2/5 cup (100 g)
  • paprika - 2 tsp (10 g)
  • salt

Preparation

Stew the bulgur in the lard and mix the paprika in, then add it to the diced pork. Salt the mixture to taste, then make dolmades with it by wrapping it in the sauerkraut leaves.

Place them in a pot, add water and a little cabbage juice and simmer until only the fat remains.
