Clean the apples, cut them into small cubes and mix them with the cinnamon. Melt the butter in a tray and add the apples on top. Separately, beat the eggs with sugar and flour, add the grated orange peel, vanilla and finally mix it with the walnuts.
Pour the cake mixture carefully over the apples, gently shake the form and put the cake to bake in a moderately heated oven. For the glaze, combine all the ingredients and beat them well with a mixer, starting with the soft butter with the cream cheese, liquid cream, powdered sugar and vanilla.
Once prepared, pour the glaze over the baked and slightly cooled apple cake. Serve the apple cake with walnuts completely cooled and sprinkled with raw walnuts.
