How to cook
Put the milk and cream, the sugar, a pinch of salt and vanilla on the stove over low heat. You must first remove the seeds from the vanilla pods and put both of them and the empty pods in the milk.
Beat the yolks well and pour them in a thin stream. The heat should be low, so that they do not boil and lump up. They just need to be warmed up slightly.
Stir them for 8 minutes, while maintaining 80-90 degrees.
Remove the vanilla pods and allow the mixture to cool completely. Then pour it into a suitable container for freezing and the thickness of the ice cream should not exceed 4 cm. You can also fill suitable molds with a stick, which the children will enjoy much more.
Put the mixture in the freezer for at least 10 hours, then you can take out the finished ice cream for kids, cut it into pieces, in case it is very frozen and blend it in a blender to make it even more creamy and fluffy. This is only if it is not on a stick, of course.
Even if you don't do to this step, the ice cream is very light and creamy and almost no crystals form, so it can be consumed in this state.
Serve it to people of all ages, sprinkled with colorful sugar sprinkles or whatever decoration you choose. Everything suits it - from chocolate to fruit!
