How to make
Wash and dry the bay leaves. Put them in a jar with a wide opening and pour the alcohol over them.
Store the jar in a dark and cool place. After 10 days strain the mixture.
In a pot, boil the water with the sugar. Cool the sugary syrup well and mix it with the alcohol.
Pour the liqueur into a bottle. Store it in the freezer.
Consume a glass of the chilled liqueur after a meal - they say that bay leaf liqueur helps the digestion!
