How to cook
Stew the minced meat with a little butter and olive oil. Crumble it and when it remains in its fat, add the rice.
Fry it until it becomes transparent and pour 3 cups (750 ml) of hot water, salt, black pepper and a pinch of turmeric.
Boil for 10 minutes, while stirring occasionally. Remove it and stew it.
Peel an onion, cut each one in half and divide into scales.
Fill the scales two by two and prick them on the skewers so that they do not separate.
Bake the stuffed onions for 30 minutes in a preheated oven at 430°F (220 degrees).
The stuffed onions with rice and minced meat are ready.
